Message from the President

The reason I thought it was important for us to establish an AAREP chapter in DFW was simple: I wanted to provide an environment where African Americans in commercial real estate industry in the Metroplex could collaborate, share and support one another as we continue to grow in the industry.

My goal for this space was for it to be a place where we could be our authentic selves without fear. There is a lot of talented African Americans in our industry and my hope is that this organization will be key in shining a light on them and a catalyst for more African American to take part in our industry. We will achieve this through our core principles of diversity, networking and professional development.

Message from the Vice President

The African American Real Estate Professionals (AAREP) is a national network of chapters developed to support the advancement of Black professionals seeking to obtain career establishment and growth within the commercial real estate industry through professional development and networking.

The organization’s activities have a united purpose: to support asset managers, brokers, property managers, investment professionals, developers, construction executives, architects, and finance and law professionals in building relationships and obtaining resources.
